Muddy Buddies! - an amazing, delicious treat for Summer!
Hey Guys! So a few years ago, my cousin discovered Muddy Buddies and showed my mother and I the recipe and out first bite was like heaven on Earth! You must make these! Here is the recipe in case you are willing to make them. ( no heat is required )
( These are them finished! )
- 9
- cups Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex or Chocolate Chex cereal (or combination)
- 1
- cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2
- cup peanut butter
- 1/4
- cup butter or margarine
- 1
- teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2
- cups powdered sugar
- Great! Now that you have the ingredients, here are the steps on how to make them! :)
- 1Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
- 2In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
- 3Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

So on the last day of school ( June 19th ), my whole entire homeroom started counting down and ya know High School Musical 2? Well ya know how they were like "SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER" before the school bell rang? Well my homeroom along with the other homerooms and a fifth grades homeroom did exactly that and it was spantabulisious. Also, the reason why i'm posting this so late from the last day of school was because i was on Vacation. I came back Sunday night and it's Wednesday. Eh. I forgot. whoops. Also, sorry for not posting in one billion years.. If you check out my other blog, there are a lot more posts that are recent on there. So hopefully since it's the most wonderful time of the year, I will be posting a lot more with all the free time on my hands now a days. I'm just hoping this summer doesn't go as fast as it did last summer. The one bad part about a break; it HAS to end at some part in time. So i just came to update you guys! And btw, don't be afraid to comment on my postss! I don't bitee.! So everyone, have a happy summer and keep checking back on here!

School is over in 1 day total. I have 2 one-session days left!

- Hanging outside, enjoying the weather!
- Talking with my best friends!
I am also super nervous about racing a language arts teacher. ( He's my grade's language arts teacher but I don't have him as a teacher, I have the other teacher! *She's the bestt!!! lol*) We are either racing on Monday or Tuesday and I'm not sure which day to bring my running sneakers and I don't want to run unprepared.. lol.. Maybe I'll run barefoot... Decisions, Decisions. lol. So i must sleep. It's almost 11. I am still wearing my clothes from today.. whoops. All in all, my two 'days' left of school should be fun..
So another topic; HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
I love my daddy to pieces and although I'm not the 'perfect' daughter or the smartest daughter, I know that he will love me for who I am and that's just ONE of the reasons why I love him.. I don't want to get all mushy-gushy on this page but I just want my father to know i <3 him with all of my heart!!!! hehe.
So thanks for reading and sorry for not updating for a loong time but summer is coming and that means I'll have a lot more free time to write posts! I still have camp from 8-4 but hey, NO MORE HOMEWORK! Lol!

Ugh. I have a stomach ache. I basically have nothing to do which is why I am telling you.
I would do my homework, but I already did the weeks homework. (shocker, right?) So ya. I am completely in love with 77 Kids. (It's the pre-teen version of American Eagle. I can't shop in American eagle because it's for the 'bigger kids' like teenagers. NEXT YEAR I WILL BE ONE. HOOORAAAY. So i really have to pee. Is that important? No? Well ok then. So i had field day today. Yeah... Our team one all of the events besides soccer and we tied in the ski races and kangaroo race. ( strange names; i know.) So adios.
Finals are approaching so darn fast and I have an oral presentation I gotta practice for and present. Gosh, I hope i don't get picked tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

ALMOST THERE!
So the meaning of the title is: SCHOOL IS ALMOST OVER AND SUMMER IS APPROACHING! YAY!
I can't wait until schools over, i can stay up late, go night swimming, go to my oh so wonderful camp, and just have endless fun without worrying about school the next day!
So i'm going to a carnival tomorrow. horay!

Track - You decide?
Hey guys!
So on Friday, I had a Track Meet against a very, very faast towwn!!! Well anyway, as you know I go in first heat because I am cool like that ( just kidding. it's because Im fast! ) and I was versing these girls a grade or two ahead of me. When the gun shot * cue gun shooting sound * I ran like a gazelle that got slapped on the butt. ( lol ) So for the first like 2 seconds I was running, I was in first. Then BAAAAAAM this older girl is in front of me. There isn't that big of a gap in between us but she is clearly in front of me. To just tell you what I ended up getting I got....: SECOND PLACE! Yay mee! I wish I did better but hey, it's a sport. My time was 9.4 ( bad, yes I know ) and the first place time was 9 flat. So only a .4 difference.
Just thought I should let you know how my meet was.
Also... GUEESSSS WHHHHHAAAAAAAAT?
I am in the County Track meet for the 60 m. So basically what that is is all the school in my county pick their fastest boys and girls for each event. ( they usually only pick seventh and eighth graders ) I got chosen AGAAINN like last year for 60m. I am hoping to go to the county meet for all they years I am in middle school. So yay for me!!! Wish me luck for that and my future track meets! HOORAAY!
So anyway, do you think I did good? Yes or no?

Whoops..!
SO SO SORRY!
I haven't been on this blog or my other one. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. I have been checking out Pinky's blog. PROJECT POST-IT ANYONE? Anyways getting off topic but.. I HEAR THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!!!! I like ice cream. haha. i have the hiccups as well. Well, gunna go do my Riverdance report. UGH. Hopefully there will be enough time left at night to update my fashion blog!!

Busy, busy weekend.
My weekend was filled of family, laughter and FOOD! Tons and tons of FOOD! So basically the only free time i've had this weekend was on Friday after school and 5:00 - 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday! So let me explain.
On Saturday was my little cousins communion! i didn't go to the mass because it was too early for my family. ( we aren't the early-bird kind of people. ) So they had the party at their country club where we scarfed down food and desert like animals! I swear I gained at least 3 pounds from that night! Well besides the food part, I got to see my family that lives an hour or so away and we talked and caught up with one another! As well as my little cousins communion day, It was my grandma's birthday. ( nice Cinco de Mayo, don't you think? ) We unfortunately didn't sing happy birthday but we saved that for another SPECIAL day! Alrighty. Now time for t what I did TODAAAYY!
On Sunday ( today ), we went to a nice Italian restaurant by the beach and my whole family wasn't just there to eat, we were there to have a surprise 70th birthday party for my grandma! It was great! She was completely shocked. After diner the grandchildren ( and I, duh ) went to the beach and played an amazing game of tag! So nothing much to say other than, IT WAS A GOOD DAY AND WEEKEND! OK Byee!

NICOLE IS ANGRY! *HULK SMASH*
As many of you can tell, I am angry. Wait sorry, VERY angry!
So as I said in my last post, I LIVE for track and I would never stop running even if that means getting consistent cramps. Well anyway, I was at my second track meet in a town that I cannot name and what do you know, I WAS SUPPOSED TO RUN A FRICKEN DIRT TRACK! I was like, "OHHH NO. I AM NOT RUNNING ON THIS! If you guys have never ran on a dirt track, your lucky. It's hard to run on. I mean, NICOLE DOES NOT GET THIRD PLACE TEICE IN ONE DAY! ( btw, I didn't wuss out this time and I did the 100 m ) So this is what happened:
All the eighth graders but ME ( the girlie in my grade ) in the first heat. ( heat means the first runners. ) So there I am in the second slot next to this HUGE EIGTH GRADER and this other HUGE EIGHTH GRADER and then three other kids about the same size as me. (BTW I AM LIKE 5 1') My dad claims I got a bad start which is why I got in third. That was my second time getting in third EVER! Anyway, I did the 100 m next. Again, I was first in the heat :( Now, what do you know. It's only 6 people in the race. Me, and those two HUGE EIGTH GRADE GIRLS and again 3 other girls about the same size as me. We RUN! Again, i GET THIRD PLACE! nuh-uh that don't happen to me!
Anyway, I hope you agree with me that I should be angry about his!

Track!
Many of you may not know this about me but I do TRACK!
It's my favorite sport and probably one of the ONLY sports I will EVER be good at. Yeah, it's easy. Just spring across a track for like 7 seconds. Well, at track practices, we work so hard to beat our personal best. ( mine being 7.6 *mini dance* for 60m ) <=== I am a wuss because I am scared to run the 100 m. ( m=meter) Anyway, my body must have some weird cramp-attracter built into my stomach because when I say when I run for like a minute and my stomach feels like somebody stabbed me, I am NOT kidding. i get the worst cramps EVER! My gym teacher claims they are called stitches. AHH! Sometimes I wish i never did track but since I do enjoy winning, i keep on coming back. ( not to sound self-centered. I hate when people are like that. haha. ) Anyway, tomorrow is my SECOND meet and I am versing a town I cannot name because you will probably find out where I live. I do not want any stalkers.. haha.
